This is a great recipe to use for an exciting and festive meal! The cool napa cabbage mixed with the spicy beef is a great combo. Winter is right around the corner so fill up on a hearty salad!

RECIPE: Mongolian Beef Salad                                        

  • 6 oz of Flat Iron Chuck Steak (SYSCO SUPC# 5181452)
  • 2 oz of Asian Mongolian Sauce (SYSCO SUPC# 9843558)
  • 2 oz of Napa Cabbage (SYSCO SUPC# 1082643)
  • 1 oz of Spring Lettuce Mix (SYSCO SUPC# 3629433)
  • 1/2 oz of Red Bell Pepper (SYSCO SUPC# 1747641)
  • 1 oz of Bean Sprout (SYSCO SUPC# 2713089)
  • 1/2 oz of Green Onion (SYSCO SUPC# 7350788)
  • 1/2 oz of Whole Roasted and Salted Cashews 
    (SYSCO SUPC# 5271259)
  • 2 oz of Toasted Sesame Dressing (SYSCO SUPC# 6475230)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut steak into strips and skewer. Place skewers on grill. glaze with Mongolian sauce. Repeat glazing often until steak reaches desired temperature. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss cabbage, spring mix, sliced red pepper, chopped green onion and sprouts. Place greens into a large rimmed salad bowl.
  3. Place skewers on salad. Garnish with cashews. Serve with Sesame Vinaigrette dressing.
